Thyratron Valve Characteristics Apparatus using Thyratron valve 2D21 (AE 205)

Objective : To draw VI Characteristics of Thyratron valve at various Grid Voltage.
Features : Instrument comprises of Two DC Regulated Power Supplies 0-5VDC/150mA, 0-15VDC/150 mA, AC Power Supply 6.3 VAC/1Amp, three round meters for voltage & current measurement, valve diagram is Printed on Front Panel, connections of Supplies & Valve brought out at 4 mm Sockets.


 
Planks Constant Apparatus (AE 206 )

Objective : To plot Forward & Reverse Characteristics of a Vacuum Photo cell & to Calculate its stopping Potential.
Features : Dual range Power Supply 0-1VDC/ 0-50 VDC with one dual range voltmeter & one sensitive micrometer of 100μA. Photo cell mounted in wooden box having window for injecting light, variable intensity light source & three colored filters.


 

Photo Cell Characteristics Apparatus (AE 207 )

Objective : To plot forward & reverse Characteristics of a Selenium Photo cell & to verify Inverse Square Law of Light.
Features : Selenium Photo cell mounted in metal box, light source. Photocell Kit with DC voltmeter of 1V & DC micrometer of 500μA, light source & required no. of patchcords.


 
Hall effect Experiment (AE 208 )

Features : The set up consists of electromagnet of 7.5 Kg, Power supply for electromagnet 0-100V/4 Amp with meter. Germanium crystal mounted & its constant current power supply 0-20 mA fitted with two digital meters for Hall’s voltage & crystal current. Gauss meter digital 0-20 K. Guass with Hall probe.


 
Work Function of Diode (Richardson Law) (AE 209 )

Objective :To draw the graphs between heater current vs heater resistance, Anode voltage vs anode current.
Features : Instrument comprises of DC Regulated power supply of 0-6 V & 0-300 V. Two volt meters & two current meters are mounted on the front panel. Valve diagram is printed on the panel & connection are brought out on sockets/terminals.
